xbox 360 vs. ps3

There has been a lot of competition between xbox 360 and ps3. Many think that the PS3 is better because the PS3 has free online and blue-ray. Truth is both systems are pretty much the same and well, since the PS3 is newer than the xbox 360 of course its going to be a little more advance. With the xbox 360 you can connect it to a pc and do a lot of cool things with it since the xbox was made by microsoft. So both systems have really cools things you can do.

My Thanksgiving Week

My Thanksgiving week was very fun.  Well pretty much what I did was do homework that my economic teacher left us.  I also had a lot of time to read so I also did that.  On Thanksgiving I spent it at my aunts' house, and this was actually pretty weird because well I usually just spend it at my house with my family.  Well I did like spending it at my Aunts' house because all my relatives were there.  Its a lot more fun to spend a Holiday with all your relatives.  Thanksgiving is one of my favorite holidays because you get to eat a lot, this thanksgiving I really did eat a lot, I believe there was, turkey, ham, smash potatoes with gravy, corn, bread, pumpkin pie, and a lot more other different type of food, and everything was very delicious.  I really liked it because well i hadn't really seen my cousins for awhile now and so this was the perfect occasion to catch up.  

Thanksgiving was so fun that the day after Thanksgiving which was Friday, I went to my aunts' house again.  We all sat as a big family and just talked.  Well my Thanksgiving weekend turned out great.  Im hoping the rest of the Holidays turn out the same.

colleges

Well I think most of us seniors should be applying to colleges soon unless you alreadyy have.  This is a very important thing to do.  Going to college gives you something to do after high school.  I think that well all of us should set the goal to attend college.  The more education you have, the more you will achieve in life, and the better future you will have.  Even though you don't have the grades right now to go to a UC or a CSU you can go to a community college and then transfer to a UC/CSU, but go to college its very important!!

The results of the powderpuff game

The powderpuff game which was on November 10, 2010 was really fun.  I was actually kind of scared because a lot of the people were saying that the juniors were really good.  Fortunately the seniors won! The final score was 24-13 i believe.  It was a really good game and it was really fun.  I was really glad that the seniors won.  GO SENIORS!!

halloween!

Halloween is very fun holiday. Its very fun because well you get to dress up as something you like for example it could be like something scary, funny, or it could also be someone from movies and stuff. There is many types of different costumes. You can also carve pumkins which is very fun. But I think the best part of Halloween is when you get to go trick-or-treating. You get a lot of candys and chocolates and other good stuff. Well I think Halloween is a great Holiday and a really fun one too!

My Boring Vacations

This vacations I really didn't do much.  I tried coming to intersession but i didn't need any classes.  So I pretty much ended up not doing anything at all during these vacations.  What I wanted to do was get a job but I for some reason i couldn't.  So i didnt do anything interesting these past vacations

This is Shannon Brown! He plays in the lakers team.  I think he is a really good player, I think he's really good at dunking.  And he is really cute!

The Beachh

I don't really go to the beach often, but when i do its very fun.  I haven't gone this year but i am planning to go it gets really hot, this summer hasn't been that hot but i think it will be pretty soon.  So i need to get ready for the beachhh!

Vacationss

Vacationss..everyone looks forward to them. Some people like to take trips, some stay stuck in intersession, some look for jobs, and well some just stay home all day. These vacations I don't want to be one of those people who just stay home all day, but I'm not sure what i'm going to do though. I need to start planning.

Senior Year!

I am really excited about senior year! I'm hoping everything goes well withh all the senior activities and stuff, because I know that last year the activities didn't go so well and also a lot of them couldn't participate because of the attendance and detention hours.  So hopefullyy this year it won't be the same!

X-box 360!!

Xbox 360 is the best!  I like playing video games.  I usually just play online with vanessa :) we have lots of fun together.  The game we always play is COD Modern Warfare 2.  And i can honestly say that we are very good at it. If you guys wanna play me sometime add me GT: GlamChiick

Lakers Champions once again!

I'm pretty sure everyone knows that the lakers won the championship again! It was very exciting to watch them win! Of course everyone knew they were going to win since they have some really good players in their team.  Kobe bryant is their best player since he has been mvp for two years in a row.  The lakers are a very good team!

New Block Schedule at HPHS

The Block Schedule at Huntington Park High School is new this year. What the Block Schedule is, is that instead of having 6th periods a day plus homeroom we have 4 blocks a day, and well now the periods/blocks are about half an hour longer that they used to. In my opinion I think that the block schedule is a good thing because now that the classes are longer I feel like if I'm actually learning something in my classes. Also another thing that I think is good about the block schedule is that we will be earning more credits a year and that way hopefully the graduating rate goes up. I think this new schedule will help a lot of people.
